Description
Monstera Mint #3 is a variegated Monstera deliciosa with an upright growth habit and large, well-fenestrated foliage. This specimen features a mature first leaf with striking mint-green and creamy variegation, making it the most prominent and visually distinctive leaf on the plant.
The mature first leaf shows a strong contrast between deep green foliage and a broad cream to pale mint-green section, with additional lighter markings extending across the leaf. Its well-developed fenestrations further enhance the appearance of the leaf and give the plant a strong, structured form.
The plant has a visible climbing stem and aerial root development and can continue to produce larger leaves with more developed fenestrations as it matures. It can be grown as a feature plant indoors or in a sheltered outdoor area.
Plant Care
- Light: Bright indirect light or filtered sunlight
- Water: Allow the top 2–3 cm of the growing medium to dry before watering again
- Soil: Use a loose, airy and well-draining aroid mix
- Humidity: 60% or higher is recommended
- Airflow: Good airflow is recommended
- Temperature: Warm conditions around 20–30°C are suitable
- Support: A moss pole or sturdy support can be provided as the plant develops
- Rain: Protect from prolonged heavy rain and constantly wet conditions
